Guidelines for Using TigerLAN Labs

1. All activities must adhere to the Policy for Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources.
2. Use of the lab is restricted to the current University of Memphis students, faculty, and staff. Lab Attendants have the right to
request to see the UofM ID cards.
3. No food, drinks, pets, or bicycles are permitted in the labs.
4. No cellular telephone usage is permitted in the labs. Ringers should be turned on silent so they do not cause a disturbance

children quiet and orderly. In addition, any parent with a child that disturbs other users will be asked to leave the lab.

Note: When all workstations are in use and students are waiting to use a computer, the lab monitor will ask those using computers for recreation (games, web browsing not related to class/instruction, MySpace, FaceBook, etc.) to relinquish their seats to those needing to do their academic work.
